Murderer!

So this past weekend my boyfriend went out of town (without me-don't ask). So my duty while he was gone was to make sure that the garden and the grass all got watered. Simple enough. I guess that anything left in my care shrivels up and dies because when I got home last night the first thing he said to me was that I had killed the garden and our grass. Well I watered it. It should have been fine. Perhaps I din't water it enough or sing to it or cuddle it but I did as I was asked. So I told him that if he had a problem with the way I did things while he was gone I guess he shouldn't leave again.
So a girl that I work with went to girls camp (leader) this whole week and she had taken friday off of last week and we didn't have to work on Thursday so she asked if I would water the plants that are outside in the courtyard that she takes care of. I said yes. She said to do it Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Again, simple enough. I watered those things today and they are in real bad shape. There is one that had yellow flowers on it that is totally fried now. I may have forgotten to water them last friday but they shouldn't be so sensitive. Anyway I'm sure that when she gets back she'll have something to say about her poor, dead flowers and I think I'll tell her the same thing I told him.

Seriously I love your posts.

We are currently plant sitting too. On Friday, the neighbor kid started lining up pots of plants all over our front porch. I had no idea what was going on until I talked to Gary and found out that we are supposed to watch their plants until this Thursday. The problem is that we left for out of town on Friday and didn't get back until Sunday. I have found that watering them twice as much doesn't make up for lost days. I guess it just doesn't work that way, but now I feel at home knowing that we are not the only plant murderers.
