This is a must!

Jont on over to Celina Boo's blog for a great list of dos and don'ts. Really, you won't be disappointed, apparently she is better at lists than I am...and I don't like to admit that. :)
Seriously do it.

Happy First Day of Fall!!!

Oh how I do love this time of year. It's a little bit colder outside, a little more brisk. Leaves are changing and there are changes in my neck of the woods...
I think it's craziness what I am doing the end of October/first of November. I am moving. Moving to the city of the Salty Lake. Greg and I have decided that we are insane and want to be closer to each other, so close in fact we will be living together. It still seems like it's a while away but it really isn't. These weeks seem to be flying by and it will be here before I know it... You guys, I am terrified to move so far away. I know it really isn't that far but it's the farther I"ll ever have been from O town. It's hard enough to see my friends and I live with one of them, what am I going to do when I'm 40 minutes away! I'll miss my Celina Boo, and I think we will both cry when I leave (her probably from joy but maybe she'll pretend that she's sad :). Every friend that I have lived with has ended up not a friend by the end of it. Not her and I though, probably because we are the same people. I have loved living there and I will definitely miss our nightly television programs. But I am also very excited to live with Greg. He and I make perfect sense and this is just the next logical step in our relationship. (after that marriage!).
We just got back from Oregon last night and it was such a fun trip. We went to the football game (they lost, but it's okay since byu lost). We went to the coast, ate chowder and crabcakes, shopped, and just had lots of fun in general. I am pretty much exhausted now though... I'll put some pictures up later...

Week in review and a project for the 5 people that read this...

Last night it rained and was quite chilly here in O town. I LOVED it. I love the fall and I adore the rain and this weather gets me excited for the winter... I know, I know. Once it snows I will definitely complain about it being too cold but one of my most favorite things ever is to sit on the couch with some hot chocolate and a blanket while it rains or snows. There is really nothing better (by the way, this is exactly what Celina and I did last night and it didn't disappoint). I love sweater weather and boots and coats and scarves. Oh it is joyous! I need to talk about my love for it now because come February I will be whining up a storm...
This past weekend my Dad and I went to New Orleans for a football game. (Lame I know, also not my idea). It was fun but it was the longest day ever. We flew there 1250 Friday night/Saturday morning and got to the ATL at 7ish their time. Sat in the airport until 915, got on the plane, plane had mechanical issues (this was not comforting by the way), sat on the plane at the airport for 2 hours, they finally decided to switch planes, got on a different plane, got the New Orleans at about 130, got our rental car at 145, drove straight to the game, game was boring and FREEZING, left when they were ahead by 21. Went to the French Quarter, bought voodoo dolls, ate beignets (donutey things, delish) and gumbo (interesting), drove through the lower 9th ward (sad), and then got to our hotel where I took a bath to warm my weary bones and went to sleep at 8 pm. Got up at 5 and flew home. Man, I love being home.
I'm going to Oregon this weekend with Greg and some of his friends for another football game and then I think I am vacationed and footballed out. Too bad the season goes until the end of November...shoot...

Uh it's almost Halloween everyone and I got all kinds of giddy at the target the other day in the seasonal section. I want everything over there... Pumpkin lights and spiderwebs. Oh I love it all. I don't know what I should be, so maybe if you leave me a comment you could give me a costume idea?

What up 25!

Whoot whoot! Last weekend was my 25th bday and it turns out I had a lot of fun. A lot.

Some highlights-
  • Celina took me to the Ruby River (I heart the Ruby River) because Greg doesn't like to go there. We had delish food and of course a great time because it is us.
  • Went to see The Time Traveler's Wife. It was not that good. Not good at all actually, but oh well, the theatre we went to, the Cineplex in Layton, has self serve butter!
  • Celina made me rainbow chip cupcakes and Greg made me a cake that contained approximately 3 lbs of chocolate in it. That's actually not an exaggeration...
  • Had dinner at Kobe with Grant (my dad), Celina, and Greg. They have the best fried rice ever!
  • Of course, went to the Outlaw and lined danced my little heart out.
I'll put some pictures up soon. I'm waiting for them to import into the computer as I type this and it is taking forever! So until then I'll just let you know that 25 has been okay so far and I can thank my friends and Greg for that. They are pretty much the best...
