Happy Birthday... To ME!

If you didn't know, my birthday was saturday. So I am now the ripe old age of 24. Awesome.
I did most of my celebrating on Thursday and Friday. These are the highlights from my birthday:
  • I went to the Olive Garden, my favorite place ever.
  • My mom bought me a short, silky nightie. I promptly returned this the next day.
  • I went to breakfast with Brittany and chatted it up.
  • While at the mall returning the nightie I got a new purse and some shirts and some sweats.
  • I got my hair colored and cut so I don't look like garbage anymore.
  • Celina and I went to sushi and the food was good but the service was not. I asked for fried rice and got white rice. She ordered 2 rolls and only got 1. Annoying.
  • We went to the Brewskis and had some fun and saw some people that we hadn't seen for a long time, also some I never wanted to see again.
  • Saturday I had onion rings and a shake from Warren's because it was my birthday and I can have whatever I want.
  • I also went to the Greenery with Celina, very good.
  • Celina, Katchie, Jessica and I went went to Rumors which was kind of lame. There was this bartender who was a dork and he tried to make me go on stage for my birthday and when I refused he said something to the effect of life is too short and no one gets out alive, it's all about the memories you make. Katchie then asked him if he could stitch that on a pillow for her. Hilarious.
  • Sunday Slayer and I went to Target (!) and after we got home it started raining and didn't stop until Monday afternoon. So I got to sit on the couch, with a blanket, listen to the rain, and read my book. Probably my most favorite thing EVER.

All in all I had a pretty decent birthday. The fact that I had four days off of work was real cool too.

Happy Birthday to you Katiekerr! Remember when Gary and I made you a cake and they called you to the office at school to get it? And it was the ugliest cake you have ever seen, but was the best because it was made with love? If you were closer...we would have made you a replica in celebration.

Maybe we could mail you a cake--it would probably end up looking the same as the one from like 8 years ago by the time it got to you.

Meganlee I loved that cake. It said Grrr on it and I could not figure out what it said. I admit I was a little scared to eat it, turns out I lived through the experience...

I think I ate some of that cake as well and I lived! I love all the memories! I think we all need to get together again and, in katie's words, "wax nostalgic"! That would be a blast!!!!!
