Has anyone seen (500) Days of Summer? Well if you haven't, you should go, it's real good. I'll go see it again if you want me to go with you! Anyway, it's about this girl (Summer) and her boyfriend and they break up and it goes back through their relationship, the good and the bad, and at the end he asks her about her new man and why she's with this new guy and not him and she says because I'm sure of everything that I was never sure of with you. Okay look. It's been about a year since slayer and I broke up, things have really come full circle since then. He called me yesterday at work and wanted to talk so we talked for awhile. I asked him about his girlfriend (she sucks). He asked me about Greg (amazing thanks) and I told him that we were going to Oregon in a few weeks and he said 'Wow, you're completely over me aren't you? That sucks'. Yes, yes I am over you. So he gets upset about this and I said 'Uh, what exactly did you expect me to do? Be sad for the rest of my life and cry every day hoping that you would figure out that I'm real cool and that you had it real good?' I think that's what he wanted and it was fine when things were going well with his yucky little girlfriend (I don't say she's yucky because I'm jealous or something, she really is gross, Celina and Katchie can testify to that) but now that he's unhappy and I'm happy it's a big deal. I find it funny that in this competition (because everything is a competition, no matter what Celina says) that while I was lagging behind for awhile, I came out the winner. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is so good to me and I have great friends, I'm skinnier than I used to be (which means I'm cuter), and mostly I'm happy. Of course I have my days, we all do, but overall I am content and I like that. I can't imagine going back to that and feeling the way that I did all the time because honestly I never really thought that he loved me and I was always waiting for him to break up with me (talk about insecure right?). I thought that's just the way it was but tis not the case! I actually feel like Greg likes (loves) me and wants to be around me (for the most part) and it's so nice. SO nice. Anyway, I guess what I am getting at is that I finally found someone that makes me sure of everything I wasn't sure of before. Yay me!
In other news- I went to Fashion Place on Saturday where I ran into Katch and her mom and when I went to buy shoes a lovely guy told me I looked fabulous! This coming from a gay man means something. We also saw District 9. Okay, it was pretty good, but pretty gross and I felt real bad for the aliens and it made me dislike people even more...

Comedians, Soccer, and Poor Boogie Woogie...
What a week I have had. First, Monday I was forced to get my precious dear cat Booger declawed by Greg and Celina. Evil beings they are (Don't worry, I still adore them both). This is something I said I would never do to my cat children and then I was bullied into it so it's done now and I feel horrible and it doesn't help that the sweet little dear wouldn't put her left paw down all week so she hobbled around the house on one paw. Thankfully this morning she started to put it down and use it so I guess that should make me feel better...
So Friday Greg and I went to the Wiseguy's to see a comedian with a few of his friends. I'm usually pretty weary of comedians because my personal feeling is that unless you've made it to where you are on the TV you probably aren't that funny. Look- this kid was hilarious. His name is Bo Burnham and he's only like 18 and he is SO funny. He's one of those that says things that make you say to yourself "should I really be laughing at that?" yes you should because it is funny. Apparently he's all the rage on the YouTube so check him out...
Then last night (saturday) we went to a Real game (soccer if you didn't know). Okay, I don't know anything about soccer but here is what I observed. Soccer fans get really kind of crazy, about silly things too, like corner kicks. Apparently that is a real big deal in the game of soccer. Also, soccer players are hot. Oh and hi, 4 bucks for a small bottle of water is a JOKE. I'll stick my mouth under the faucet in the bathroom thanks. We went to the game with Greg's neighbors and we went to the Olive Garden before because they decided that since my bday was coming up that I got to choose where we ate. Love the OG and I found something new there that will make dieting that much harder. They have these donut things that are covered in sugar and then you dip them in chocolate. They are the most divine thing I've had in a real long time. Go there, try them, you will be hooked...
Now for a serious matter of business. My birthday is two weeks from today. Two weeks! I'm excited because a) it's my birthday and b) I like presents and free dinner. But I'm a little sad actually because I feel old. I know I'm actually not that old (I'll be 25, cringe...), but I am because before you know it I'll be 30 and then 40 and then I'll be in an assisted living community yelling at the nurses because you know I will an ornery old person. So I think I need to do it up real nice this year. I'm thinking I'll hit up the Tavernacle on Friday night and have a night of line dancing at the Outlaw on Saturday. Anyone want to come?

S-S-S-San Diego!!!
So last weekend Greg and I went to sunny San Diego and it was lots of fun, and guess what!?! Oh that's right, I was right and I did not get engaged. Told ya so... But it was still lots of fun
Highlights include:
- The Zoo- It's huge! and they have every animal imaginable (except penguins, WTF?) but we saw lots of sweet little things, many of which I wanted to steal.
- Greg's friend Kami and her boyfriend came to dinner with us one night (they live out there) and we stopped at a bar where Greg rode a mechanical bull. He actually did really well, he didn't even get injured which is surprising.
- We rode the bus to the beach where we fried ourselves to death and then had to listen to some Crazy talk about how the mexicans were the reason he'd never had a girlfriend. No, no sir that's not the mexicans, that's because you're insane...
- Went to a super fance dinner at a super nice place and then went to the SHOUT! piano bar. Look, I love dueling piano bars, they are my fave, mostly because I like to scream songs I guess...
- Oh! Our hotel was SO nice. But it was a total party hotel and we were kept awake nightly by the raging party going on upstairs.
So we pretty much had a great time and we will be getting engaged shortly :) Kidding! But we really had a super fun time and it was a much needed vacation. Loved it! and loved who I was with!
By the way, sorry about the music on this slide show thing, it came with it and I'm far too retarded to figure out how to take it off...

Quickly...
So I ran my first 10k on Friday and I did pretty good! My official time was 56:05 which I am happy with because I wanted to do it in at least an hour, so yay me. Then I got a massage after that and I was not fond of the lady, she was a bit too touchy...I don't want to talk about it.
Look I'm sure you are sick of hearing it but I am real excited to go to San Diego. I leave in just a few days. Oh, I am also going to Oregon in September! I'm going with Greg and some of his friends to a football game. Pretty exciting... I've never been to Oregon though so I'm excited to see it.
