I think I did it again... and other stuff

Ran the Ogden half this morning. I did okay! Probably not quite as good as last time, I was a tad sick to my stomach the whole time, but pretty close, within a minute or 2 (the results aren't up yet or I'd give a you an actual time). Can I give you some recommendations for this half marathon? First, get a ride to the start because for some ridiculous reason they make you load busses downtown at 445 in the effing morning! Look- we aren't driving that far, only 13 miles up the canyon, so then you stand outside in the cold for nearly 2 hours since the race doesn't start until 7. They had fire barrels which was nice but I think the smoke inhalation may have contributed to my queasy stomach... and also, don't believe anyone that says it's an easy course because it's all downhill. It's slightly downhill occasionally after you climb 3 hills in the first 2 miles.
So it looks like I'm running in the Ragnar Relay in about a month and then I think I'm done for a bit with the paying money to run long distances.
In other news, Greg turned 30 this week, he's so old! Kidding... We also celebrated our one year anniversary this past Sunday. Exciting right? We've had a fabulous year and look forward to many more in the future. Most of which we'll be married for! Yay! We get our engagement pictures done in a couple of weeks which I am pretty excited for, and my dress has arrived so we are actually really close to having everything taken care of. Oh and we've booked a super fun honeymoon to San Francisco for a week. It should be fun, neither one of us have been there for years and we've found lots of fun things to do so far.
Oh and have I told you that Greg and I are in a kickball league? Because we are. It's silly and I feel totally stupid but the people we play with are lots of fun and it's been a pretty good time so far, other that the weather refuses to cooperate. Our first 3 games were cancelled because of rain and the last couple have been so cold! Looks like this week should be a little warmer though thankfully.
