Blah...

Hey y'all. I have a been a sucktastic blogger lately, probably because life is pretty blah. I had a great Christmas and New Year's and now that all the fun is over I am ready for spring and sunshine! I think that I suffer from the seasonal affective disorder, you know, the one where you get gloomy because you never see the sun? that's me!
So anyway, let's talk resolutions.
I've decided that this year I have two main resolutions. 1. To lose weight, I lost most of it last year and I only have a bit left but it's been rather hard lately so I need to get that in check. 2. To get out of debt. It's not terrible and I'm not drowning in bills but I would feel a lot better and less stressed if I didn't have those kinds of things to worry about. Oh and I guess I could add a third one on there and that would be to pass math 1050. That would give me my associates degree (yay!).
Oh! Greg and I got a Wii! So exciting! We were at the Costco the other night and we were only there for dogfood (for the Phyllis) and I said (jokingly) 'we should get a wii' oh and we did. It's pretty fun, we mostly got it so that we can download olde nintendo games onto it. Good times.
Speaking of Phyllis, she is good. She's getting big and she really likes to chew on your feet when you are walking but she's super cute so I forgive her. She sleeps with us and makes little snores and likes to lay across you whilst you sleep, it's cute but she did it the other night and when I woke up I thought I was going to die because I'd had a seven pound weight on my back all night. Not the best sleep I've ever had... Boogie is pretty cool with her, she chases her around and when Boogie is done with her she climbs up to her new favorite perch on top of the fridge where Phyllis can't get heror even see her.
Did I mention that my Dad is getting married? Oh yeah, he is. March 5th.

It's a Christmas Miracle!!!

So guess what I got for Christmas?!? A sweet little puppy! OMG she is a-dorable. So stinkin cute. Loves her. Let me tell you how I ended up with this sweet little dear. So Katch texted me a week or two ago asking if I wanted one. Greg said no. So then on the 23rd she said she was going to giveme one as a gift and I can't say no to a gift right? It would hurt feelings. So I told Greg (who was not thrilled) and I picked her up on Christmas Eve. BTW-I'm pretty sure that Greg is more obsessed with the puppy than I am. He didn't want to work on the kitchen because he didn't want to move because the puppy was sleeping on his arm and he couldn't move and wake her up! Really... Guess what we named her? After much debate we decided on Phylis. She is so fancy.
Miss Phylis
So in other news, sorry for the crappy amount of posting lately. Greg's computer hasn't worked for quite awhile but you'll be happy to know that I am currently typing on it and it is working and I am happy. Construction on the kitchen is nearly complete. I realize that I've been saying that for a few weeks but I think it may actually be done this week! Pretty much the only things that need to be done are the outlets need to be put in and the sink needs to be cleaned out and we need to make sure it's not leaking. So close! So excited! You really can't imagine how awful it is to not have a stove or an oven or a sink. Seriously bad for my waistline...
Let's see... what else... I guess I could tell you what I got for the holiday. Greg took me shopping a couple of weeks ago for presents since he really didn't know what to get me so I got some clothes and a new pair of runnin shoes. We also went to the Market Street Grill. It was really good, I had never been there for dinner before. If you like seafood go. It's good stuff. My Celina Boo got me a giftcard to my fave the Olive Garden. Delish! I'm so excited. And of course Katch got me a puppy that I love. She also got me a coin purse with kitties on it and a cute shirt. Pretty good Christmas I must say. Greg and I had a relaxing Christmas morning. We made breakfast and went sledding and then had dinner with my Dad and his fiance and then went to Greg's parents house for a bit. It was very nice.
I hope that you all had a very happy holiday and that you have a happy new year!!!

Goodness gracious!

Goodness it has been a long time. Listen- not my fault. Greg's computer has some issues so there is no internet connection and I get in trouble at work if I get the internet and I can't do this on my phone so pretty much, the world is against me.
Let me tell you what has been going on! Oh, yeah, nothing really... It's almost Christmas and I am super excited! Love me some Christmas! Greg took me shopping for my present and I got lots of good stuff, so I'm excited about that. Oh and last night I tried to do laundry and I flooded the kitchen. Yeah, no one mentioned to me that they'd unplugged the hose on the washer so it flooded. I was less than happy about that little detour that my night took. Because instead of sitting on the couch in my cozy sweatpants I got to muck around in yucky concrete water. It was awesome. (the concrete water is from the counter tops because Greg has been working on those since Thanksgiving) (and I haven't had a dishwasher, or a sink, or a stove) (it's fun, trust me).
My dad got engaged! He is super excited and I am happy for him. I think it's kind of fast but to each their own.

A Boring Update

Hello! It's been a real long time and I apologize for that, turns out work is not too keen on me being on the internet so I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog it up. Oh and not much has been going on.
Other than I moved to Salt Lake! Yes, I am official Salt Laker now and it isn't too bad (mind you, I've only lived here for about 72 hours but whatev). Amazingly I have fit most of my stuff into Greg's wee condo and Greg, Boogie and myself are a cozy little family living in sin (I know some of you are thinking that so lets just get it out there, shall we). I miss my Celina Boo and her brood of animals but I'm sure that we will still hang out, we better anyway...
I'm getting super excited for the holidays! I'm having to hold myself back from raiding the Christmas aisle at Target. I guess I should wait a couple of weeks...
Also get ready everyone- New Moon comes out real soon and the wolf boys are HOT! So cute, I have my eye on Paul, I'm just sayin. I'm real excited for some sparkly vamp goodness.
